【解説】 不規則に変化する比較級，最上級

　

　＊ [ good ] の比較級は [ better ] で、最上級は [ best ]。

　

　　　This pen is good．　　　　　　　　　　　このペンはよい。

　

　　　This pen is better than that pen．　　　このペンは あのペンより(もっと)よい。

　

　　　This pen is the best of the three．　　 このペンは ３本の中で、一番よい。

【補足】 well，many，much の比較級，最上級

　

　１．[ well ] の比較級も [ better ] で、最上級は [ best ]。

　

　　　Ken plays tennis well．　　　　　　　　　　ケンは テニスが上手です。

　

　　　Ken plays tennis better than Masao．　　　 ケンは マサオよりテニスが(もっと)上手です。

　

　　　Ken plays tennis (the) best of the three． ケンは ３人の中で、テニスが最も上手です。
